In this photo space is used, but especially negative space by having the subject be directly in the middle of the photograph to emphasize that space. Song interpretation
Photo inspired by: Noah Kahan Song: Stick Season Lyrics: "I love Vermont, but it's the season of the sticks..." My photos connect to Stick Season by Noah Kahan because they reflect the themes and emotions of the song and album. Black and white
In this photograph you see space, especially a lot of negative space surrounding the seagull. From the principles of design movement and rhytem are shown throughout the whole photo from the ocean ripples leading your eyes to the main subject. Lastly, from the rules of photography this photo is considered breaking the rules by having my subject directly in the middle.
